2) Set as Desktop Background:
Right click on an image in your browser and select from the popup menu "Set desktop background". The image will now become your background image. If you do not have a two-button mouse (Mac OSX), hold "ctrl" and click on the image, and then select "Set desktop background".

2) Save Image to Hard Drive: Windows:
Download the image to your hard drive to where you desire it to be stored by right clicking on the image and choosing "Save Picture As:" from the popup menu in Internet Explorer. Next, right click on the desktop itself and choose "Properties" from the popup menu that appears. After a window called display properties opens, click on the tab named "Desktop". Now click on the button "Browse" and select the image you just saved.
Mac OSX:
Download the image to your hard drive to where you desire it to be stored by right clicking (or "ctrl" and click) on the image and choosing "Save Image As..." from the popup menu. Next, right click on the desktop itself and choose "Change Desktop Background..." from the popup menu that appears. this will open your System Preferencs for Desktop & Screensaver, click on the tab named "Desktop". Now find and select the image you just saved.
