Welcome to the new version of CatOsterman.com!!
I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated you guys, but we were waiting until we could launch the new site. Now that it’s here, I plan on keeping my blog, pictures and videos updated more frequently. I hope you enjoy the new site, and come back to visit more.
Let’s see. Where should I start? Last time I wrote I think we were in Venezuela with the National Team. What a trip that was! We pretty much only saw the field and the hotel for 13 days. We were allowed out …
Hey everyone!!
Well I know it’s been forever since I updated this blog, but a lot of things have been happening, including a redesign of the website, so be looking for that in the future!!
Well summer has begun. I drove down to Florida to get comfy in my new home with the Pride. I made the drive from Chicago in one day, arriving with plenty of time to play catch-up with Megan Willis, who was also traded from Tennessee with me. We both were incredibly sad to leave our old teammates behind, but everything happens for a reason, and …
Well, since I skipped a Thanksgiving blog and it’s technically the holiday season, I thought I would share all I am thankful for …
My life has turned out to be something I never imagined, and many people have contributed to that …
My parents have guided me every step of the way. Mom answers my frantic calls about losing my keys when she is four states away and really can’t do anything. She listens to me try to sort out all the life issues I have while entering the real world and trying to grow up. Dad gets on …
Oh how I wish the summer was still here! I miss being able to wake up on my own time, work out on my own time and then head to the “office” to play a game. Those are the best times. I can’t wait for summer to come once again, and for the Thunder to take root in a new town. The waiting is killing all of us, but some good things are in store, and when the announcement is made, I think everyone will be excited.
Triple Threat camps have taken off. We’ve done three so far: two in …
Oh wow it’s been a while … sorry guys! Life’s been busy, summer flew by, and I was sad to see it end. I had one of the best summers of my life, and I think I was holding on to it until the very last second.
Team USA won all four events it went to this summer, and World Cup was as fun as always. We’re excited that next summer it will be an even bigger event since World Cup will be replaced with World Championships – 16 countries will be represented!
The Rockford Thunder ended the summer with …
Yes, oh yes … I have decided to blog once again! However I am not going to play catch up on about four months or more worth of stuff, so you’re going to have to deal with my random thoughts.
Currently, I’m in my lovely hotel room in Oklahoma City! I just finished some homework for my Management Information System class I am taking online. Let me just say that stuff is confusing and hard to retain. I am struggling a bit with the class, but I’ll figure out how to get through it. I really wanted an A, but …
Well hello there!
I’m alive and well, don’t you worry! Haha. I know it’s been a few months since I have written, which doesn’t make sense because I don’t feel like I ever do much other than work.
Speaking of work, the season is actually wrapping up now. My Demons need to play hard this weekend to have at least a share of the Big East title and I don’t want to jinx them at all. They’ve worked really hard all year to be at the point we are. After going to Georgetown this weekend, we’ll head to Louisville next …
Good morning,
Well, it’s been a long while, and quite frankly, I haven’t found time to do much of anything lately! Between work and school, I am exhausted all the time. A lot has gone on since I last wrote, so let’s play catch up!
After my snow trip at New Year’s, DePaul started our winter quarter and practice and we had five weeks to prepare for season. Now, being in negative degrees and snow makes for a lot of indoor practices, which for me, wasn’t a common practice in college. We used our time wisely, though. We worked on …
I’m procrastinating from homework by typing this, but, oh well. Haha … Happy New Year everyone!
The holidays were an amazing time for me. I spent the majority of my time at home in Houston with my family. It was by far the most time I have spent there since I graduated high school. I needed it though. The time away from softball was also much needed.
I love Christmas, not because of the gifts, but because of the decorations. I could go look at lights and decorations all night if you let me. So, needless to say, when I …
Hello… hello…
I know it’s been a while, and I have no real reason to have not written other than I just got lazy for a little while! I mean everyone needs some lazy time in their life, so I took mine.
I’m now back in Texas and loving every minute of it. I really enjoy Chicago now that I moved there, but I am such a Texas girl through and through that I love being home.
I flew to Austin on Sunday to be the emcee of a presentation, and then my brother, Craig, came to pick me up …
